Classes 1. Street: Factory 5, 4.6, 4.0 block or any stock Mustang engine available appropriate after 1979. Motor must be period correct. (i. e., Fox Mustang will only be allowed a 302 based motor.) No power adders or stroker motors allowed. Bolt-on cars with mild engine modifications ONLY. Full factory interior, no bare floor pans showing. Must be covered in carpet. Rear seat delete kit is acceptable. Current registration and inspection required. (NO Dealer Plates) mufflers are mandatory. No Mini-tubbed cars. 3100 lbs. minimum with driver. Regular street tires ONLY! Front and rear tires must be D. O. T approved. (No drag radials, cheater slicks, dirt track, shaved or special compound tires allowed.) All manufacturer’s lettering and identification plus the appropriate ratings must be clearly visible to be deemed a valid street tire. 2. Street Limited: 306CID limit. Bias ply are not allowed in this class. NO CHEATER SLICKS. 3. Street Extreme: Factory 5.0, 4.6, 4.0 block or any stock Mustang engine available appropriate after 1979. Motor must be period correct. (i. e., Fox Mustang will only be allowed a 302 based motor.) Only 1 power adders or stroker motor (NOT BOTH) No after market blocks. No 2 stage nitrous or fogger systems. Limited to only 1 fuel  and 1 nitrous solenoid. No twin turbos. Single small turbos limited to 70mm. No “J” Trim or bigger blowers. No “F” series blowers. No cog or “V”belt drives. Serpentine ONLY. No air to water inter-coolers. Full factory interior. No bare floor pans showing. Must be covered in carpet. Rear seat delete kit is acceptable. Current registration and inspection. (NO Dealer Plates)  mufflers are mandatory. No mini-tubbed cars. 3100 lbs. minimum with driver. Regular street tires or D. O. T. Drag radials ONLY. (15” & 16” Drag radials are limited to 275 max width. 17” and larger, any size is OK. No limits for regular Street tires.) Front and rear tires must be D. O. T. approved. Bias ply are not allowed in this class. (NO CHEATER SLICKS ALLOWED) All manufacturer’s lettering and identification, plus appropriate rating must be clearly visible to be deemed a valid street tire. F-150 Lightnings: While no longer a separate class, they are still welcome to race with MOMS! SBF 351 or 5.4 based only. Mufflers are required but whatever you want to do after that is up to you. Your class will be determined by your tire choice and/or power adder selected.                                                                         THE BIG BOY CLASS RULES: Big Boy classes are based “on your honor” that you are running the equipment as defined by the MOMS Racing staff. MOMS Racing reserves the right to bump a car from any class, at any time in the name of fair and even competition. 4. D. O. T. SBF 302/351 or 4.6/5.4 based only. Anything goes as long as the stock wheel wells are intact and a stock-style suspension is used. Mini- tubs are approved as long as a stock type suspension is still used. Any D. O. T. tire is OK. Rear tires must be D. O. T. approved and bias ply are OK too. Mufflers are mandatory. 3000 lbs. minimum with driver. All manufacturer’s lettering and identification, plus the appropriate rating must be clearly visible to be deemed a valid D. O. T. tire. ** The elimination of the D.O.T. requirement for front tires is for the safety of the racers due to the higher speeds being achieved in this class.   When you are specifically running racing front tires, like those offered by Hoosier, Phoenix, Goodyear, Mickey Thompson, Moroso, Toyo, M&H, etc. Front tires must meet IHRA requirements. 5. Naturally Aspirated: SBF (302/351 or 4.6/5.4 based) only. Slicks and mufflers required. Any engine modifications are allowed. No power adders. 2900 lbs. minimum with driver. 6. Power Adder: SBF (302/351 or 4.6/5.4 based) only. Slicks, mufflers, power adders required... whatever you want after that. Just make it sick & safe!! No complete tube cars please, but back-half cars OK. 2900 lbs. minimum with driver.
