Posted by: Daveh - Yesterday, 08:53 PM - Forum: Photos and Videos - Replies (1)

Most of you know me but in case you dont, my name is David Hilner, i have been racing and doing photography for 20 years, i do photography on the side since i do not race anymore, i currently freelance for Dragzine Magazine and some other large racing magazines. AL is moving on now and i stepped in for MOMS and the racers to help out, i will be shooting all the MOMS events and will help in other area's as needed.

All pictures will be available for sale, i can do basic prints, framed and matted prints, phone cases, mugs, blankets photo books and so much more, if you ever need anything , please do not hesitate to PM me here or on Facebook, i will also list my contact info below. I will extend discounts to all MOMS racers who want something.

Going forward, please stop and say hi if we have not meet, i would like to over time get everyone with there car, maybe work on that later. Also, if there is something i am missing or there is something you want to see, please comment and ask away, i am always interested in peoples feedback.

Thank you all for coming and giving us a good show, as always, get the wheels up, it makes for better pictures... Big Grin

NEW MOMs SPONSOR! ROC GUY DETAIL
Posted by: 302N20 - Yesterday, 01:14 PM - Forum: Announcements - Replies (1)

MOMs would like to welcome it's newest sponsor to come on board, Roc Guy Detail.  They will be the official detail sponsor of MOMs Racing this year.  They provide solutions for better car care using CroftgateUSA Products.  They are Rochester's Premier Dealer.  They also offer complete car cleaning services.  Check them out on their Facebook page, get a hold of David Hilner or post here for more information on them.

Look for a great detailing prize to be given away by them at the end of remaining races this year!

Maybe next adding a Non-Points Invite along with Preseason Invite ?
Posted by: housemja - Yesterday, 11:14 AM - Forum: The Strip - Replies (5)

Im kinda bored on this rain Day
so I was just thinking is there any interest in doing a mid -season invite in the same month as a regular points race just not the same Friday? Im thinking about them test and tuners that just show up to run but are unaware of MOMs! I would be glad to lay my helmet down and help out if needed! Besides I Kinda Miss some guys that used to race with us then bought Chevys and Hell Cats that cant race MOMs any more!! Andy?? LOL Just putting it out there!

  Expansion

I hear everyone wants MOMS to do this, expand this, do this. What I never hear is Who is going to help do all this. Someone who races can't do much as you are racing. Many say they will help but if we say yes then it happens for maybe one race and that ends. It takes commitment to make things run smoothly. One doesn't show now one of the others has to put on 2 hats that night. Many have more than 2 hats to start with. 5 individuals on race day and 7-8 overall make everything happen.
MOMS is run by nothing other a few people who enjoy what they are doing. They hear and receive all the complaints that happen that no one hears about. They put out the small fires that erupt. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make everything happen and run smoothly. Working with the track personnel and directing the racers. People think all they have to  do is show up on race day and poof everything works.
I tried to graciously back out of doing the website a couple seasons ago and it failed miserably. So I took it back over. Now I am moving out of state and I am glad to see that Brian is stepping up to try and take over the website. I wish him all the best.
All I am saying is if you want to see MOMS continue to survive and continue to operate the way you all want. Then you need to find more people to step up. Most of your volunteer staff has been at it since the beginning or close to it.
Rant over.

what are your 2017 goals for racing?
Posted by: 93SlowMod - 06-21-2017, 10:50 PM - Forum: The Strip - Replies (3)

Just curious what everyone's goals for their racing program is this season? ET goals? Class championships? To beat a certain buddy? Let's hear them!

Mine is to finally get my car running to its full potential and run around 5.50-5.70 in the 1/8 and around 9.00 in the 1/4, ultimately would love to see an 8 second slip! And id like to race Doug in a final lol

Have an 1/8 mile specific class that fast cars?
Posted by: 93SlowMod - 06-21-2017, 10:21 PM - Forum: The Strip - Replies (4)

How about an 1/8 class that could run after all the 1/4 mile cars, it would be more catered towards the faster small tire cars that arent really set up for 1/4 mile, but still wanna race moms. Open to all engine combos and any tire(drag radial or slick) with tire size limits of course, and Mustangs only of any year. And it would still be same format as other classes.
